Overview:
Sandstone/ Siltstone tiles, cladding, bricks and blocks that are mined with a low impact practices. Suitable for internal and external use in commercial and residential applications.
Product Description:
Eidsvold Siltstone is a fine grained subtely featured creamy coloured sandstone that can be used for tiles in both interior and exterior applications, as cladding, and as sculptural blocks. Tiles and blocks are supplied in split face, raw cut or polished form and are not sealed. Aggregate created during mining which is not useable for tile or large blocks is turned into pebbles or is sold as raw aggregate.
Product is mined using an expansive grout which splits stone from mine face gently along a fault line rather than using explosives. This mining method generates significantly less waste and the low impact process allows the zero waste/zero emission targets of the manufacturing process.
